Nuclear spy implicates Musharraf

Denver News.Net
Friday 4th July, 2008

In Pakistan, nuclear scientist, Abdul Qadeer Khan, has said his country may have supplied nuclear centrifuges to North Korea under the supervision of the army.

Qadeer has suggested the shipment in 2000 may have been made with the consent of President Pervez Musharraf.

Khan has revealed that the army had complete knowledge about the equipment, so 'it must have gone with Musharraf's consent.'

Pakistan's has repeated denials its army or government knew about Khan's nuclear proliferation activities.

Khan's claims contradict his 2004 confession that he was solely responsible for spreading nuclear technology to Iran, North Korea and Libya.
