Lies and setups alleged at OJ Simpson trial
Denver News.Net Tuesday 30th September, 2008
The man who told a jury that OJ Simpson asked him to take guns to a hotel room where two memorabilia dealers were threatened, has acknowledged he never told the police the same story during interrogation.
Simpson defense lawyer, Gabriel Grasso, during a lengthy cross-examination asked witness, Michael McClinton, why he’d had an entire conversation with police without mentioning guns.
McClinton responded: 'It may have slipped my mind. But Mr. Simpson knew I had a gun. He read my concealed weapons permit.'
McClinton, 50, a Las Vegas resident who worked as a security guard, was the last of four former co-defendants to testify against Simpson in the trial.
It was noted in court that McClinton pleaded guilty to some charges in an agreement that called for him to testify against Simpson.
A defence witness at the trial, Albert Beardsley, who was one of the two memorabilia dealers allegedly robbed at gunpoint, testified for the prosecution last week.
Under questioning by Simpson lawyer, Yale Galanter, Beardsley repeated that he thought charges against Simpson should be dropped, and has called the incident a set-up by Thomas Riccio, the collectibles broker who arranged their casino hotel room meeting.
Simpson has denied he knew a gun was involved and said he only wanted to retrieve mementos of his sports career.

Lies and setups alleged at OJ Simpson trial
Of course Simpson would deny knowing a gun was involved. He’s as slick as as his lawyer was at his murder trial when he said if the glove doesn’t fit you must acquit”. Apparently only people in California do not know that leather items shrink when wet.
I say if the gun was in the room he should have known and if not, so what.

what they did was illegal
bottom line, vigilantism is illegal. oj should have filled out a police report...oh that’s right, he hid the stuff from the authorities and signs memorabilia illegally to hide the money from the goldman’s. Whose son he killed.
OJ is a coward and is always looking for the easy way out. He EARNED jail time and now he will get his payback.

unfair conviction
was not a robbery. he should have never been tied.
there are real crimes going on, this was a waste of tax dollars to even try this case
the police were on a mission, the jury did not speak to media to raise the level for more publicity, more dollars to be made off oj.
the police offices making comments about oj should be fired.
the judge allowed to much in. Prosecutors closing arguments cause for mistrial for sure.
this was a getcha oj deal

Leave Simpson Alone
White America will never be happy until O.J. goes to jail. Listen, was it not for that racist cop Mark Furman O.J woulb be in jail today, so deal with it. I hope the jury see this trial for what it is, a setup by Thomas Ricco. But then again they are white, sorry O.J. but you are an innocent man going to jail this time.

the crusader
To believe a thing and know a thing is not the same thing. I have watch this trial on the net everyday. Going to an arrange meeting is not breaking in as Raccio set it up and hide a recorder that the police did not find. Getting his stuff back would not mean anything to the public. But OJ in trouble with the law! TV, book deals money! money! The media follow OJ around so they can feed a hating public.

OJ is a dead beat
He is a man that thinks just because he is famous he can do whatever he wants, and obviously it’s true. There is no one a normal, everyday person would have got away with, and what he will get away with. I believe this case will be just like the murder case, everybody knows he should be sent off, they just wont do it because he has money and is famous.

OJ Verdict Opinion
I donât believe there is a Judge in the US who would permit a fair trial for OJ; I believe that the intention of the Judge was to convict him. I also doubt that the jury could have been impartial, I think some of the jury members knew well of his acquittal. OJ is famous for âgetting away with murderâ and I donât think anything else mattered in this case other than a conviction. Itâs as if he is not serving time for his previous crime on Trumped up charges. Common, stealing your own personal items gets you in prison for the remainder of your life? This is a ridiculous verdict and it wreaks of conspiracy!

This turd broke into someone hotel room at gun point and held someone up.
His Items were owned by someone else OJ pawned them.
So theft Kidnapping, extorsion and attempted robbery using a deadly weapon get’s you along time in the slammer.
I hope OJ gets butt slammed by some big white power stud.
The truth is his own race will hate on him the worst for being a porch monkey after all he’s only black when hes in trouble.
