Cruise movie could be a sinker over seasonal period

New Tom Cruise movie, “Valkyrie,” has critics believing it will be hard to find an audience for the movie.
'Valkyrie' is based on the failed assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler.
Critics agree that it is a well-made movie and an absorbing thriller, but insist that a host of other films that can cover the intellectual upscale audience are to be released in the coming days, and thus marketing problems for “Valkyrie” will be huge.
Industry insiders point out that the Christmas film season, which starts on December 26th, is already booked for the release of the Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet's flick 'Revolutionary Road'.
The wide release of Ron Howard's 'Frost/Nixon' and John Cusack's highly anticipated 'Shanghai' are also expected to cover the intellectual upscale audience.
Among family dramas, Forest Whitaker's 'Hurricane Season', Jennifer Aniston's 'Marley and Me', and Adam Sandler's 'Bedtime Stories' are also in the pipeline.
Critics have also revealed that Valkyrie is not good enough to bag an Oscar.
The movie has no mention of the atrocities that were committed on Hitler's command, no mention of the famed Holocaust either.
An insider said: 'It's just discussed that Hitler is ruining Germany's legacy and that the war is not good for history. All the other stuff, you're just supposed to know that's going on in the background.'

Even if you aren’t yet turned off by Cruise, who would want to watch this?

This is probably the real reason they tried to kill hitler, the war was going badly, and it was ruining germany, also, the people in the plot were german army, they would have known about the things the german army wa up to in russia, as well as the true nature of resettlement. and now here is cruise, a jew, playing stauffenberg, as a hero. Was he a hero when he participated in the attrocities, or only when he realised the war was goinog to be lost, and wanted, along with his conspirers, to preserve what germany had gained through vicous war?
