[Lloyd] Cushenberry, against a stout Titans front, held up well on a night when quarterback Drew Lock wasn't sacked. The Broncos like Cushenberry's smarts and athleticism, and both were on display for much of the evening.

It's a tough loss, made more frustrating by the fact that Denver had already benefited enormously from a prime-time meltdown by Titans kicker Stephen Gostkowski. The Broncos aren't good enough to turn away charity.

The Broncos lost Von Miller and that is a big blow to their good defensive vibes. Wide receiver injuries are already bringing down their offensive optimism with Drew Lock, too.
