The Colts ruled out Charvarius Ward Sr. (concussion) on Friday, and on Saturday placed Jaylon Jones (hamstring) on injured reserve.

The Colts on Sunday announced six inactive players for their Week 2 game against the Denver Broncos at Lucas Oil Stadium:
- CB Charvarius Ward Sr. (concussion)
- QB Riley Leonard (3rd quarterback)
- RB Tyler Goodson (elbow)
- T Luke Tenuta
- TE Will Mallory
- DE Laiatu Latu (hamstring)
Goodson and Latu were initially listed as questionable on Friday's practice report; Ward was ruled out on Friday.
The Colts on Saturday made aseries of roster movesincluding placing cornerback Jaylon Jones (hamstring) on injured reserve and elevating running back Ulysses Bentley IV and cornerback Chris Lammons to the active roster from the practice squad.
