NASHVILLEThe Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's season opener against the Denver Broncos.

Here's a look at the developments from the day:

-Titans cornerback L'Jarius Sneed spent the entire offseason getting ready for the regular season.

Week One is now here, and Sneed feels ready.

"I trusted the process, and think I'm ready, headed in the right direction on where I need to be," Sneed said on Friday. "I want to be a big tone-setter, that's who I am. I want to set the tone. But I'm not going to go in and get out of my norm, I just want to do what I do, play football."

The Titans listed Sneed at QUESTIONABLE on the team's Injury Report with a knee injury.

Here's Sneed in on the field, and in the locker room, on Friday:

-Titans left tackle Dan Moore Jr., who appeared on the Injury Report at the start of the week with an ankle injury, is good to go, per head coach Brian Callahan.

-Safety Kevin Winston Jr. continues to recover from his hamstring injury. Winston is DOUBTFUL for Sunday's game.

"I love playing football, so to have it stripped away from me as long as it has been, I'm always going to be antsy to get back on the field," Winston said. "But I have to trust the trainers and everybody to make sure we go about it the best way possible."

Here's more from Winston, who talked to reporters in the locker room on Friday:

-Running back Kalel Mullings is also listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.

-Center Lloyd Cushenberry, a former Bronco, will be the team's gameday captain on Sunday, Callahan said.

-Callahan said his time in Denver as an assistant helped shape him as a coach.

Callahan's first stint as an NFL coach came with the Broncos as a coaching assistant in 2010. He served six seasons with the Broncos, also as a quality control coach, and later as quarterbacks coach for Peyton Manning, among others.

"That was the foundation of my coaching career to start," Callahan said. "It was a chance to be with some really good coaches, John Fox, Gary Kubiak. We went to two Super Bowls, and I got to be with Peyton Manning for four years. That was the foundation of my career. Everything that I lean on still to this day are from that time. Obviously, I was with Mike McCoy and Tyke (Tolbert) there as well. Really, really good coaches there.

"It was a great place to learn and grow, from a coaching perspective. It's a wonderful organization. I've always looked back on my time there fondly my daughter was born there, I got married there, my wife was a Denver Broncos cheerleader, for folks who don't know. So, I have a lot of affinity for that place and that town. It's a great organization, and I am looking forward to going there and hopefully getting a win."

-The travel to Denver on Saturday afternoon for Sunday's game vs the Broncos.
